Instrumentation & Automation Engineering Technology ABET Accreditation

The Bachelor of Technology in Instrumentation & Automation Engineering Technology is accredited by the Engineering Technology Accreditation Commission of , under the General Criteria and the Instrumentation Engineering Technology Program Criteria. 

 

ABET accreditation is proof that a collegiate program has met standards essential to produce graduates ready to enter the critical fields of applied science, computing, engineering, and engineering technology. Graduates from an ABET-accredited program have a solid educational foundation and are capable of leading the way in innovation, emerging technologies, and in anticipating the welfare and safety needs of the public.

 

The Instrumentation & Automation Engineering Technology program focuses on the application of electronics and computer technology to instrumentation, industrial automation, and process control systems.

Graduates are encouraged to continue their professional development by taking the Fundamentals of Engineering Examination at the end of their senior year; the FE exam is a prerequisite for taking the Professional Engineering Examination.
