Applying for Graduation

Steps to Graduation

During the final semester:

  1. , be included in the Commencement Ceremony, by the deadlines below. Ensure all degree requirements are met. Include your correct forwarding address for diploma and graduation packet delivery.
    1. Fall Semester: November 1st
    2. Spring Semester: March 1st
    3. Summer Semester: July 1st
  2. Order Graduation Regalia from the OSUIT Bookstore.  For more information on ordering please call 918-293-4950 or email osuitbookstore@okstate.edu.  You can also stop by the Bookstore located in the OSUIT Student Union.
  3. Submit official Academic Transcripts from any other schools attended.
  4. Submit all Advanced Standing Credit no later than the second Friday of the graduation semester.
  5. Apply for grade changes or academic forgiveness prior to graduation.
  6. Complete an Exit Interview with your Academic Department.
  7. Complete Loan Exit Counseling with Financial Aid.
  8. Ensure all Bursar account charges are paid in full.

Graduates may order graduation announcements or class rings. Contact the Campus

Diploma Information

  • Diplomas are mailed approximately 6-8 weeks after graduation.
  • Diplomas/graduate packets are sent to the forwarding address on your graduation application. Notify the Registrar’s Office of any address changes.

Reorder a Diploma

Contact the Registrar’s Office. Replacement diplomas cost $30, payable before ordering.

 

Transcript Information

  • OSUIT offers electronic transcripts via the Parchment Send service.
  • Ensure no transcript holds exist before requesting an official transcript. View holds in Self Service under the "Student Tab."
  • A signature or verification of identity is required to process transcript requests; email and phone requests are not accepted.
  • Electronic delivery of transcripts is available via our expedited eTranscript option.
  • Obtain official transcripts in person at the Office of the Registrar (The Grady Clack Center) with a valid photo ID at no charge.
